Discovery & Assessment: Research, interviews, and assessments to help us get to the heart of the issue and uncover needs, opportunities, strengths, and current challenges. Determine goals and focus areas, and get clarity on our road map for moving forward.

Strategy Development & Design: With your culture and team in mind; we develop training, coaching, and engagement initiatives. We'll develop your internal communication plan to increase buy in, and determine key metrics we'll track for success.

Strategic Execution: Program facilitation begins and the plan is implemented. We'll integrate feedback loops and progress reviews to help us understand what's working and what's not.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement: We'll review the key metrics, and determine pivots and edits to the program. Acting as your trusted advisor and program partner, we continue to support you and your leaders to maintain momentum.

About the Founder & CEO - Laura E. Knights

After being in senior leadership at a university in a role where she had significant staff development responsibilities, Laura became more and more passionate about creating empowered workplaces where leaders are inspired and employees are engaged and motivated to meet organizational goals. Out of this passion, she launched Knights Consulting in 2016.

Laura Knights is an executive coach, speaker, facilitator, and trainer with 18+ years of experience creating professional development programs that have touched leaders all over the world. Her expertise and background in business, human resources, adult education, and as a licensed clinical social worker uniquely equip her to teach others how to deal with both the "head work" and "heart work" required to succeed at work and in life. 

Laura received her Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management, from Washington University in St. Louis. She obtained her Master’s in Social Work from DePaul University.

She is a certified critical incident response professional and provides crisis response services to companies that have experienced a critical incident such as downsizing, employee death or workplace violence. Additionally, Laura is a certified trauma professional, certified practitioner for both the DISC and Core Values Index assessments, and holds a Licensed Clinical Social Worker designation in both Illinois and Georgia.

She is also a Certified Equity & Belonging Facilitator.  Her expertise spans various industries including information technology, finance, government, nonprofit and higher education.

Dr. Chinasa Elue

Trainer, Coach, Researcher & Facilitator

Chinasa had 10+ years experience supporting leaders at all career levels. In addition to her work with Knights Consulting, she is an associate professor of Educational Leadership and Higher Education at Kennesaw State University. Her research focuses on grief leadership, trauma-informed leadership practices in organizational settings, and the health and well-being of historically marginalized and underrepresented populations.

Karma Hill

Coach, Facilitator & Positive Psychologist

Karma Hill is an ICF accredited Positive Psychology & Leadership Coach with 12+ years experience in life and professional coaching. She brings concentrated expertise in women in leadership, leadership burnout prevention, and applied integrative wellness in the workplace.

Sunette Thompson

Trainer, Coach & Organizational Psychologist

Sunette has 10+ years experience in business development, entrepreneurship, and human relations. She is an Employee Assistance Professional with expertise in applying positive psychology models, and individual and team coaching initiatives.

Felicia Tate

Organizational Development Specialist, Coach & Facilitator

Felicia is a Senior Human Resources Professional specializing in and excelling at the management of business performance strategies, development of top talent, and the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure company’s goals are met. She has an extensive background in human resources oversight, which includes employee relations, labor relations, strategic organizational development, leadership and career development, performance management, executive coaching, recruitment, and succession planning.
