Connect with Laura
After being in senior leadership at a university in a role where she had lots of staff development responsibilities, Laura became more and more passionate about creating empowered workplaces where leaders are inspired and employees are engaged and motivated to meet organizational goals. Out of this passion, she launched Knights Consulting in 2016.
Laura received her Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Organizational Development and Human Resources Management, from Washington University in St. Louis. She obtained her Master’s in Social Work from DePaul University.
She is a certified critical incident response professional and provides crisis response services to companies that have experienced a critical incident such as downsizing, employee death or workplace violence. Additionally, Laura is a certified practitioner for both the DISC and Core Values Index assessments, and holds a Licensed Clinical Social Worker designation in both Illinois and Georgia.
Laura is a teacher and master strategist at heart. She personally works with all of our clients, and is the first point of contact. Depending on the nature of the project, she will bring one or more of our expert consultant partners along to provide added value and create more capacity for a collaborative partnership that leads to results in your organization.
